Personal Chef Services

My personal chef services provide busy professionals, families and food lovers with professionally prepared, fully customized menus, created with hand-selected fresh ingredients. I can navigate any type of diet, food allergy or restriction that you need to consider. I prepare every meal from scratch in your home; then package, store and label it with simple re-heating instructions. All you have to do is come home to a spotless kitchen and enjoy.

In addition to my in-home personal chef and meal prep services, I am also available to cook for small private parties and offer private and group cooking classes where you can learn to make everything from baklava to braised short ribs.

Cookbooks and Collaborations

I am the co-author of  Opa! The Healthy Greek Cookbook: Modern Mediterranean Recipes for Living the Good Life (Rockridge Press, Nov. 2017), a collection of 90 Greek recipes, which offers a creative new voice in the cannon of Greek cooking; and Saffron, an 88-page, full-color travel-cookbooklet that explores saffron in Greece, tips on best uses and storage of the spice, 12 lively saffron-forward recipes to inspire the beginner and advanced home cook, and a photography story of the annual saffron harvest in Krokos, one of forty small villages in the town of Kozani, Western Macedonia, Greece.  You can also download my e-cookbook Greek Island Eats to immediately satisfy your Mediterranean seaside cravings.

I’ve also collaborated with brands and organizations like the California Olive Oil Council,  MorningStar Farms, Athens Foods, Ninja, Russell Stover Chocolates, ASmoke and Thermomix to develop recipes and pop-up events around their product lines.

In March 2018, I was also one of six featured chefs and members of Les Dames d’Escoffier International to cook with Master Chef Argiro Barbarigou at the James Beard House for her Aegean Secrets dinner, where we served an 8-course menu celebrating the cuisine of the Southern Aegean Islands.

A Little Background on Christina

I am second generation Greek-American, with family roots on the islands of Crete and Milos. My culinary career began at an early age baking Greek delicacies for Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church festival in Dayton, Ohio. I honed my chef skills in professional cooking and baking at the New School of Cooking in Los Angeles, and often returns to Greece — especially my family’s home on the coast of Crete — to indulge in the local offerings.
